Programs & Services

Shelters

Extreme Weather Shelter 

Arcata House Partnership provides emergency shelter during severe weather conditions, ensuring a safe, warm space for those at risk.

Adult & Family Shelters 

Our four shelter locations offer longer-term emergency housing, case management, and support to help individuals and families transition to stable housing.

Permanent Housing

Rapid Re-Housing & Permanent Supportive Housing 

We help individuals and families find stable, long-term housing with rental assistance, case management, and ongoing support.

Homekey Programs

Ke-Mey-Ek’ Place 

In partnership with the Yurok Indian Housing Authority, this 18-unit affordable housing site has onsite support, a laundry room, a community room, and select reserved units for tribal members.
 

The Grove 

In partnership with The City of Arcata, the Grove is a 60-unit housing community with 24-hour staff, case management, and supportive services to help residents regain stability.

Food Assistance

Gleaning 

We find surplus food and turn it into meals for people who need them, so the food doesn’t go to waste.

CalFresh Outreach

Our team helps individuals and families apply for CalFresh benefits, providing access to healthy food options.

Food Pantry 

Our food pantry is open every Wednesday and offers many grocery items, including fresh foods like eggs, milk, cheese, vegetables, and bread. Please note that pantry offerings depend on local donations and may change weekly.

Support & Referral Services 

We offer essential resources and connections for anyone looking for help. Our services include hygiene supplies, like feminine products, help with getting identification and important documents, and referrals to Arcata House Partnership programs, like our Emergency Shelters and Family Shelters.

 

We also provide additional support, including case management, help with housing searches and applications, address and mail services, phone charging, CalFresh applications, access to food and snacks, and information about community meal resources.
