Point-in-Time Count Volunteer Training

  • 638 West Clark St., Building E Eureka, CA (map)

Every two years people all across the United States work together to count the number of people who are homeless.  It will be happening again this month.

Please consider volunteering for the PIT Count. We will be using the “blitz” method this year, which means each team of volunteers will be assigned to cover a specific territory. We want the teams to hit the streets at first light, 7:05 am on the morning of January 23rd and to keep surveying until you’ve covered your territory, finishing no later than noon.

There will be training for Point-in-Time Count volunteers on the following dates and times:

           1.       January 15th 5:30 – 6:30 pm at 638 West Clark St., Building E in Eureka

            2.       January 17th 6:00 – 7:00 pm at the Arcata House Annex, 501 9th St. in Arcata

            2.       January 22nd 12:00 – 1:00 pm at 638 West Clark St., Building E in Eureka

We will record one of the trainings and make it available online.
