Dear Friends,

As we face significant changes in funding policies at the federal and state levels, we understand the uncertainty this creates, not just for AHP, but for the entire network of individuals and organizations we serve. Many agencies, including ours, are actively planning for potential reductions in funding, which may lead to tough decisions ahead. However, we want to reassure you that we are taking thoughtful, strategic steps to continue our mission and support our community in the best way possible.

At AHP, we are currently working on a variety of contingency plans to ensure that, no matter what challenges we face, we will remain steadfast in our commitment to the people and programs that make a difference here in Humboldt County. While we anticipate some funding cuts, we are committed to keeping our programs open.

We are making necessary adjustments, and despite changes, our priority remains clear: ensuring that our tenants, staff, and essential services continue to be supported.

This is not a time for panic, but a time for flexibility and unity. We deeply appreciate your understanding, patience, and continued support. We will keep you informed as we move through this uncertain time, and we remain focused our mission to serve those who need us most.

Sincerely,

Darlene Spoor, Executive Director
